| Description of the problem | Car has a strong sulfur/rotten egg smell at acceleration. Had to complain to local mercedes-benz dealer several times over 3 years before someone looked into the issue. The dealership blamed an accident in jan 2014 for problem, but sulfur smell during acceleration was present before the accident. Instructed to tighten the seal on the bumper in october 2016. Still having sulfur smell enter car when accelerating especially with the air conditioner on, though not as strong as before the bumper seal was retightened. The smell still persists so the problem is still there. |
